Our Perimenopause Facial is Guaranteed to Change Your Skin

Your skin is shifting, and so is the way it needs to be cared for. The Phosis Facial is designed specifically for perimenopausal skin — skin that may feel itchier, drier, thinner, more sensitive, or suddenly unpredictable thanks to fluctuating hormones. This perimenopause facial combines deeply hydrating, barrier-strengthening, and circulation-boosting techniques to restore glow, calm irritation, and support your skin’s natural resilience.

While we created this perimenopause facial for skincare professionals, we wanted to share it with all of you to adapt and try at home. Because it's more than facial – it's a reset for skin in transition.

1. Client Consultation & Skin Analysis (5 min)

  • Discuss current skin concerns (tightness, dullness, sensitivity, hormonal breakouts)

  • Identify hormonal changes, medications, and lifestyle factors

  • Assess for dryness, texture, elasticity, and inflammation

2. Double Cleanse (8 min)

First Cleanse: Oil Cleanser

  • Apply to dry skin using slow, lymphatic strokes

  • Emulsify with warm water, remove with soft mitts

Second Cleanse: Cream Cleanser

  • Massage into damp skin to dissolve residual impurities

  • Remove with warm steam towel

3. Gentle Exfoliation (5 min)

Dry Brushing

  • Gently dry brush the face in upward sweeping motions

Gentle Enzyme Polish

  • Apply a thin layer and allow to sit for 2–3 minutes

  • Use light circular motions to lift dull surface cells

  • Remove with lukewarm water or steamed gauze

4. Toning & Skin Prep (2 min)

Hydrating Essence Mist

  • Mist generously to rehydrate and rebalance skin’s pH

  • Press in with fingertips for optimal absorption

5. Lymphatic Gua Sha with Luminous Oil (7 min)

Phosis Luminous Ultrafine Revitalizing Face Oil

  • Apply 5–6 drops to face, neck, and décolleté to provide slip and nourishment

  • Using a Gua Sha tool, perform light, slow lymphatic drainage strokes

  • Start at the center of the face and move outward and down

  • Focus on jawline, cheekbones, and under-eye area

  • Use feather-light pressure to stimulate flow and reduce puffiness

  • Encourage movement toward lymph nodes at the ears and collarbone

  • This step reduces fluid retention, improves tone, and calms hormonal inflammation

6. Facial Massage & Serum Infusion (8 min)

Firming Serum

  • Apply over skin after Gua Sha

  • Perform lifting massage with fingers or roller, focusing on tension zones

  • Helps deliver peptides deeper after oil absorption

7. Hydration Mask (10 min)

Hydrating Face Mask

  • Apply a thick layer and cover with warm, damp gauze

  • Let sit while performing hand or scalp massage

  • Remove with warm compress

8. Lip Treatment (3 min)

Lip Balm

  • Smooth over lips

9. Final Layering & Protection (7 min)

Phosis Calm Deep Hydration Restorative Cream

  • massage in to seal and protect

  • SPF 30 Mineral (if daytime)

  • apply light layer

10. Post-Facial Recommendations (5 min)

  • Use Luminous Oil + Gua Sha 2–3x weekly

  • Use Calm Cream daily
